DVDMaker
From DVD-Slideshow
DVDMaker is a utility for creating DVD movies from a collection of still photographs and video clips.
When DVDMaker is run, the user is asked to select a directory containing images and movies. The images are then displayed one by one, and the user may add title pages before any of the media items. When the user is satisfied with the selected titles, DVDMaker creates a linux shell script, and supporting files. This shell script calls dvd-slideshow, dvd-menu, and other programs to combine the images, movies and title slides into a dvd movie.
DVDMaker is written in java, so may be run under Linux, Windows or MacOS, as long as a JVM is installed. However, the script generated is a Linux/Unix shell script, and requires various other software to be installed in order for it to run.
See this youtube video for an example of the final output.
DVDMaker is currently in version 0.1beta, and may remain so for some time. The limitations of the software are clearly explained on the official page. The source code is available.
See the DVDMaker official page for more details, and for more comprehensive usage instructions.
